Created by Congress in 1990 in order to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment by foreign investors, EB5 Investors can invest $1 million dollars or $500,000 in a new commercial enterprise and be eligible for Lawful Permanent Residency (LPR or green card) for the investor, spouse and children under 21 years of age. A new commercial enterprise include:
